Hazardous Materials Removal Management

Following complex negotiations to preserve the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) sanctuary, Rose Environmental managed the removal of hazardous materials (primarily asbestos) from the FUMC administrative wing during its demolition in April 2008. Rose Environmental conducted pre-bid contractor walkthroughs and periodic oversight of contractor work practices. Rose Environmental provided timely site response where emergency material testing was needed when hidden suspect materials were discovered during demolition.

Rose Environmental conducted post-abatement clearance inspections and provided final release letters summarizing the successful removal of asbestos-containing material prior to demolition.
